This week views on newspaper analysis by Jimmy Gathu and the colleague(Man) have not been done objectively. The two gentlemen views are skewed towards their political inclination.
concerned viewer - 14 07 09 - 15:54

Hi, My favourite TV station is Citizen. Johnstone Mwakazi, Kobi, and Jimmy GOOD WORK. I like watching morning breafast when i have time especially inspiring moments and Mwakazi’s guitar bring it more often, but the programme is so nice and mostly happens when we are on our way to work and at work. My request though, when I am available on Saturday, its absent, Please please bring it on Saturday even if for one hour.

Lastly thank you and continue your good work. ON RACE COURCE ROAD AT RIVERSIDE near the round about, there is a SEWAGE BURST WHICH HAS LASTED MORE THAN ONE MONTH FLOORDS THE RACECOURSE ROAD. please inform the concerned authorities as the pedestrians are suffering. THANKS SO MUCH.

Andrew - 22 10 09 - 11:28

To the presenter, in regards to the 22/10/2009 show attached with the theme : should kadhis court be removed from the national constitution. It melted my heart to realise that you sir recognize the truth, and in defense to the muslim community you spoke with the utmost good intention, one thing you will understand also is that your rewards are with God himself, for you have stood by his religion. I cannot thank you much, and i pray other presenters follow suit, and walk in your foot steps.
Abdallah Ahmed - 22 10 09 - 11:53

A great fun of citizen T.V. However, kindly save us from this Nigerian/African movies that fill our screens everyday… We would really appreciate other wholesome programmes e.g CNN, COMEDIES, MUSIC.... that seek to educate Kenyans especially those in the reserve areas that cant access cable TV. Who even came up with that idea?!
james ndegwa (Email) - 10 11 09 - 11:44

royal media is our home. to bring the point home citizen has found a home in our hearts, we run an advertising firm and is a story that was discovered in uhuru park gardens and nurtured in the streets to this point in time. we have had enough of the streets and think deep into our hearts if we can have alive talk show with royal media then we need not to google for inspirational talks in the world or watch movies of america got talent. believe me not! one of its own ideas first in kenya flush advertising and event organizers party of the year the white party in mombasa and nairobi. if kenya is got a talent then ask simmons advertising 0721819131 mary xmass and prosperous 2010 we on behalf of simmons advertising and events together with our clients in kenya, uganda and the entire East Africa we wish Royal media services and all kenyans mary chrismass and prosperous 2010 year may you leave to dominate the market congrats.

hamida ramadhan (Email) - 29 01 10 - 14:34

Citizen Breakfast show is one of the most informative shows i know. Concerning the debate on when life begins….im convinced that the draft should not define when life begins as their is no medical consensus on this. Its sad that so many women especially the poor continue to die in this country and risk their lives over unsafe abortion procedures by quacks! It is best that this procedure is made safe and therefore the constituion should not make it impossible for this to happen. I personally support the Bomas draft in this matter which did not define when life begins. Keep up the good work Citizen, the women in this country are watching.
Hazel (Email) - 04 02 10 - 08:53

I agree with the previous comment. Their is no consensus over when life begins even by medical experts. So many women are dyeing from unsafe abortions even in situations where they have been raped! I find the Christian leaders in Kenya hypocritical when they propose that kadhis courts be removed from the draft constitution and then propose that life begins at conception because that is what they believe. Notice that i say Christian leaders who are hypocrytical because i am a Christian n they dont represent my view on this matter.Kenya is a secular state!!
Gitau (Email) - 05 02 10 - 10:12

i love Citizen breakfast show. Very informative!!! Could you do a show on the Kenyan version of religious fundamentalism? tis would be a hot topic especially now when the Catholic church is threatening to reject the Constituion if THEIR definition on when life begins is not included!!!! Then ask for the Kadhis courts to be removed!!! Why the double standards?!!!
lucychebet (Email) - 11 02 10 - 14:39

Your show has been inspirational. i wanted to know if i can get contacts for Destiny-image europe publishers. the show was aired on tuesday. your response will be highly appreciated.

Pamela maluti (Email) - 28 02 10 - 18:50

I only wish that all Kenyans would always be up early enough to watch the breakfast show, i’d wish to give them an early vision on what Karate would do for you. Thanks
GI Mutuku (Email) - 14 03 10 - 03:16

hey lady and gentlemen you know you are a ratio of 1:4 however we thank God 4 kobi she represents all the ladies.Any way i am a no 1 fan of ur show and my favourite presenter and role model is mwakazi i wish all the youths were like him. What a wonderful nation it could be!!
HANNAH (Email) - 15 03 10 - 09:57

I like listening to Newspaper review by Mutegi Njau. But I notice that he has ceased to be neutral and so I switch to another channel during Mutegi’s presentation. I have no ill feelings towards Mutegi – infact he was my college mate at Kenyatta University in the early 70’s
Harun Kitweny (Email) - 16 03 10 - 16:12

I have always enjoyed watching “ The Power Breakfast”, however, i feel there is a need for a few changes to perfect your act. First, Mr Mutegi should be a little respectful of Jimmy as a colleague and especially his contributions to in the “Newspaper Review”.

Secondly, i would like to express my appreciation for Mr. Mwakazi, especially for his “Inspirational Moments”. However, i would request that you invite interested poets to be sending you pieces of poetry for the program. You then can find a way of rewarding them. This will avoid the repetition of the same poems day in day out.

Your grateful fan,
Robert Muhavi.
Muhavi (Email) - 24 03 10 - 17:57

great interviews jimmy, please bring Phillip Kisia and ask him why he has let a bunch of greedy, preying individuals, who are manning the parking issues at the upperhill area. They pounce on you even when you have just stopped on the side of the road for 5 minutes to take a call. Otherwise, i would like to here what he has done since he was appointed, i think he is one year into the shoes that Gakuo left him.

I watch Power Breakfast Every Morning. It is one of the best programmes in all the TV Channels. Since you have a great audience of both the Yes and No supporters of the draft constitution it would be kind for you not to be seen to be holding briefs for the YES proponents. Remain professional. Thanks and keep up the good work!
Esau Akala - 21 05 10 - 06:30

Hallo beautiful people.

Good work with the morning shows. My name is Pastor Terry Gobanga. Hallo G.S, hope ur doing good!

Self expression comes in many ways, art being the most effective. Some do it through sports, others through music,, others through literature, i do it through paint, paper and fabric. I do custom hand-painted T Shirts, bags, shoes, caps and custom tailored jeans. Check out my work and take a look at the pieces iv done in the attached files. After restrategizing, i feel that in special reference this interactive and moral-guided show can really give us a breakthrough in marketing us to our target population which is the youth and also the corporate market, especially with our superior finishing, fabric-paint quality and detail in the custom fashion design industry.

Please look through our Juu Chini Customs Group and my personal albums to see what im talking about then if u may when we roll out our new line, organize some interviews to start up our campaign to officially introduce our wide range fashion art products into the Local market.

Yours Sincerely,

Ryk
